Belly Repair My repair of WR's belly after wheel up landing (not mine).
The large whiter area is new flow coat along with a few small patches of still wet coat where the glass began to show through. The old coat is in bad shape which makes it almost impossible to neatly blend the new layer. |

Wrtailwheelmnt4 The carbon is now trimmed arounf the sides and the wheel well hole trimmed to match the hole in the rubber (which is uneven and off centre).
A trial fit shows the wheel fits ok. These wheel bearings take a 8mm shaft, I also have some which take 6mm.

Couplings 0296 H’otelier couplings for aileron and air-brake in our LS1f (wr).
These are a bugger to rig because you can't see them and have to do it all by touch.
They require lube every 50 flight hours. |

Wrtailwheelmnt This is the side which sees the runway. The steel axle mounting hole is intact on the bottom side of the photo but the other side is broken. |

Wrtailwheelmnt2 Our broken tailwheel mounting block for VH-GWR. This side is glued to the tailboom
Appears to be made of poly-urethane rubber (not foam) - black glue is probably sicaflex.
The white is gelcoat.
There is a steel frame thingy encased in the mount. This lets a roller-blade wheel be fitted but one side has broken off.
